Academic Center for Excellence (ACE)

Our mission is to help the diverse population of undergraduate students at Florida State University develop the study skills and personal success habits that enhance learning and encourage the highest level of scholarship and academic achievement. We are committed to working with the university community to promote a culture of academic success, with the shared mission of helping students earn a college degree and develop effective lifelong learning skills.

We offer free tutoring and academic support in the ACE Learning Studio in Johnston Ground (WJB). We also assist students with time management, organizational strategies, effective note taking, exam preparation, learning strategies, and other tools for success in college. The ACE instructors deliver these learning modules in a variety of formats, including workshops, courses, individual consultations, and online educational materials. Additionally, ACE plays a key role in connecting undergraduate students to the range of academic support services and programs that are available at Florida State University.
